What the service is

ScannerQRCodes is a free browser-based tool that decodes QR codes and barcodes from your camera or from an image. It is provided as-is, without a service-level guarantee.

Acceptable use

You may use the scanner for personal and commercial purposes.

You may not use it to decode codes you are not entitled to read, to attempt to disrupt or overload the site, or to redistribute the site as your own product.

Content you scan

You are responsible for the codes you scan and for what you do with the decoded content. We do not verify, endorse or take responsibility for any destination a scanned code points to. Treat unknown links with the same caution you would apply to an unsolicited email.

Accuracy

We aim for correct results but cannot guarantee that every code will decode, or decode correctly. Damaged, partially covered or low-resolution codes may fail or produce partial output. Verify critical data — payment details in particular — before acting on it.

Intellectual property

The design, text and code of this website belong to their respective owners. QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. Open-source components are used under their own licences.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this service.
